Senior Pastor Lawrence "Bud" Downs

Bud has degrees from Great Lakes Christian College (Lansing, Michigan) and Cincinnati Christian Seminary (Cincinnati, Ohio). He has pastored churches in Lansing, Michigan; Cincinnati, Ohio; and, for the past 15 years in Phoenix. Bud and his wife Kathy have three grown children. He has been Senior Pastor with Cactus Christian Fellowship since March of 1999. Kathy is a teacher at Paradise Valley Christian Preparatory School which is part of the church campus.

Bonnie came on board to run our office and give assistance to our staff in February, 2003.  She is married to Bill who serves as one of our Elders.  Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, they have three grown daughters and have been members of our church since 1989.

 Nathan & Shelly Umbanhowar - Youth Leaders

Nathan and Shelly Umbanhowar  work with the youth from 7th through 12th grade.  They lead the Youth Group on Wednesday evenings and will be planning other events during the year.

Nathan is also the Music Coordinator.  He chooses the music for the Praise Teams that play in both of our services.  Nathan is a very talented musician and plays guitar with both Teams.  He and  Shelly have three children, Keith, Aaron and Sarah.
